Press release – The 6000D by Dare 2B has passed the symbolic milestone of 6,000 entrants

Over 4,000 participants in 2024, over 5,000 in 2025, over 6,000 in 2026 – the number of entries for La 6000D by Dare 2B is breaking records year on year! This success is a clear illustration of the general upward trend in participation numbers at running events across France.
Reaching the 6,000-race-number milestone (6,128 to be precise as of 22 July) has a special significance for an event called “La 6000D”; the organisers have been dreaming of this for a long time.
Among the factors driving this growth are: a programme of races that is regularly expanded to meet participants’ expectations and build loyalty; the opening of registrations in the autumn for the following year’s event; and an increase in certain quota limits.

“La 6000D is certainly benefiting from the current craze for trail running. This new record also reflects, first and foremost, the resilience of the event, with its moderate, purist ethos, capable of evolving and adapting to the development of the sport. Regularly introducing new features is key to building loyalty; I’m delighted that we can offer a comprehensive trail running programme for everyone. The organisers always have ideas in the pipeline for the future!

At the same time, the challenge ahead of us is to preserve the human touch of our major summer event. Our close relationship with the runners is the key to our success. Other priorities will include maintaining the enthusiasm of our volunteers and ensuring that our natural environment remains the guiding principle behind everything we do. La Plagne is a playground; the 6000D is just a game, and it will remain so only if the terrain is treated with respect."
